Brussart Finishes
Premier
Each Brussart finish is created using a series of polishing, oxidation, and highlighting techniques. The craftsmen polish by hand, using belts, cloth wheels and compounds to establish a base. Each finish has its own oxidation formula, created by Brussart’s craftsmen. Rather than using a timer, Brussart’s artisans personally determine when the oxidation is complete. Highlighting is done on a finish wheel, with the craftsmen revealing various tone contrasts depending upon the level and depth of detail on each piece of hardware.
